Step 1: Explore APIs

Bridge Open Banking APIs allow you to open accounts make payments, and retrieve critical financial information right from your own system or application. Visit our Products for an overview of each API's key benefits and use cases.

Step 2: Sign up for an account

For access to try out our APIs, reach out to your East West Bank GTS sales consultant to discuss your business needs.  Or, you can enter your information in the Sign Up form, and someone will get in touch.

Step 3: Try out our APIs on the portal

Once you’ve signed up, you can try out our APIs directly on Bridge Open Banking.  If you then decide you want to move forward, please contact your GTS sales consultant to discuss obtaining access to our sandbox and production environments.  Your GTS sales consultant can provide additional guidance, pricing and the documents needed to setup further access.

Step 4: Create an application

An application is a collection of one or more API resources that you can access with a single authentication credential. You must create an application to utilize our APIs in the sandbox environment and test the code that you’ve developed.

Step 5: Test your code

The reference documentation for each API product includes a short series of commands that will quickly get you to your first API call. Just copy, paste, and plug in the appropriate credentials.  You will have access to live test accounts and will be able to send test payments and retrieve information using the APIs in the sandbox.

Step 6: Go live in Production
